2. Scope
This notice explains how Pactando processes personal data when users visit the website, request information, join early access, purchase a service, or use the current local analyzer.
3. Categories of data
- Technical data required to deliver and secure the website, such as IP address, timestamp, browser and request information.
- Contact data voluntarily provided through email, support or early-access requests.
- Account, transaction and billing data if paid services are introduced.
- LinkedIn export data selected by the user. In the current Free version, this content is processed locally in the browser.
4. Purposes and legal bases
- Providing the requested service and taking pre-contractual steps.
- Operating, securing and improving the service based on Astranova’s legitimate interests.
- Meeting legal, tax, accounting and regulatory obligations.
- Sending optional communications where consent or another lawful basis applies.
5. Local analyzer
The standalone Free analyzer reads selected CSV files in browser memory. Pactando does not intentionally transmit the CSV contents to its servers. Users can clear the working data by using “Clear analysis”, refreshing the page or closing the tab.
6. Premium or cloud processing
Premium functionality may temporarily send only the conversations explicitly selected by the user to Pactando’s secure backend and an approved AI provider. Pactando will clearly identify that processing before it begins. The service will disclose the purpose, categories of data, relevant processors or subprocessors, processing location and applicable safeguards. Raw conversation content will not be stored in Pactando’s database after the analysis response is generated, except where temporary technical retention is strictly necessary for security or error handling.
7. Retention
Pactando does not store LinkedIn CSV files or raw conversation content in the current Free version. For Premium analysis, selected conversation content is processed transiently and is not retained in Pactando’s database after the analysis result is returned, except for short-lived technical logs or security records where strictly necessary.
Account, subscription, billing and aggregated usage data may be retained only for as long as necessary to provide the service, meet legal obligations, prevent fraud and manage billing.
8. Recipients and processors
Astranova may use hosting, email, payment, security and infrastructure providers where necessary. These providers will only process personal data under appropriate contractual and confidentiality obligations.
9. International transfers
Where personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, Astranova will rely on an adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, where required.
10. Rights
Data subjects may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability or objection where applicable. They may also withdraw consent at any time where consent is the legal basis.
Requests can be sent to hola@astranovapartners.com. Data subjects may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency or another competent supervisory authority.
11. Data minimization
Pactando is designed so that statistical analysis can occur locally and advanced processing can be limited to the conversations explicitly selected by the user. Pactando does not create a historical database of LinkedIn conversations, contacts or message content.
12. Third-party conversation data
Users are responsible for ensuring that they have a lawful basis and sufficient authority to process the personal data contained in their LinkedIn export. Pactando must not be used for unlawful surveillance, discrimination, harassment, covert profiling or unsolicited bulk messaging.
13. Updates
This notice may be updated when the service, providers or legal requirements change. The current version will be published on this page.
